Monsior
A rider in the Field Polo, stopped in open country under a silver sky

Edition 01 · The Inaugural Piece

Cut for the long ride.

A singular equestrian knit in cream, forest and sage. Extra-fine merino through the body, anchored with mother-of-pearl.

The Singular Release

One piece. Eight months of millings and fittings. No seasonal filler.

Most houses begin with a catalog of thirty designs to hedge their bets. Monsior begins with the polo because it is the hardest garment to get right: formal enough to wear under tailoring at lunch, yet tough enough to take into a morning wind on a horse.

The Field Polo

Just for Diwali

The inaugural release of the house. We start with one piece because getting a polo right is an exacting craft: it must be robust enough for an open-country ride, yet refined enough to sit under a jacket at dinner without a fold out of place.

01 · Stance

The Riding Stance

Cut with a higher armhole and structured shoulder saddle so the collar never slides back when your arms are forward on the reins or a desk.

Dual ribbing detail

02 · Construction

The Dual-Gauge Rib

14-gauge ribbing gives mechanical memory to the knit. It naturally stretches to accommodate motion, then immediately returns to its tailored line without bagging.

03 · Weather

The Merino Blend

Natural thermoregulation. The extra-fine wool core pulls damp air away from the skin, while long-staple combed cotton keeps the inner face soft during hot afternoons.

The House

Country cloth, brought to its highest discipline.

Monsior is country cloth. Knitted, cut and finished in small ateliers for people who ride, walk, and sit down to lunch without changing. The ibex on the mark is a high-country animal: sure-footed, a little severe, and never in a hurry.
